The EVOL. Foods stuffed pepper food hack posted to Facebook on July 13th is a good example of successful social media content. Knowing that their target market consists of people looking for quick meals, EVOL. Foods has included a helpful product usage tip. (chapter 5 part 2 video, 5:45) Their post gives consumers ideas about what they can do with their product, and is a way to talk about the product without purely promoting. The post is also successful because it uses visual aid in the form of a video, which helps increase the post’s level of engagement. According to the powerpoint slides for chapter 5, likes were increased by 33% and comments by 104% due to the usage of a visual aid. (chapter 5 part 2 video, 7:17)
