Above is a large

June 28, 2016. At first glance, assuming you are quickly scrolling through your
Twitter feed, you think the post is about the beach. You then realize that the
focus is on the hammock after reading the text.
What makes this
tweet successful is that it is short and funny. The tweet only contains about
16 words, thus meeting one of the three criterion of being an effective tweet.
(Chapter 6, Part 2 Video). The tweet itself falls into the “entertainment”
category of the six types of tweets according to the lecture video in Chapter 6
(Chapter 6, Part 2). By choosing to post an entertaining tweet, Skittles has
then provided Twitter users a reason to follow them, because they are funny
(Chapter 6, Part 2 Video).
