I Found this first example on Facebook, as you can see. I would definitely consider this a GOOD post. First of all, the picture is very appealing and really catches the eye of someone like myself who loves the outdoors. Secondly, on a bit of a more in-depth level, they are asking a question in their post, rather than telling you something (which isn’t bad, its just a change to something new). Them asking a question as their post is a quick and easy way for them to get their consumers involved and excited to share stories. Another quick thing that I noticed is the use of only ONE hashtag. This sums up their post, and invites the customers to begin commenting and taking part in conversation. Lastly, the amount of feedback shows me that it was a good post. With over 5,000 likes, 200 shares, and 700 comments, REI must have appealed to the eye of their market. They must have done something right. Good post, REI.
