Taco Bell Rap

Taco Bell tweeted a video of a guy rapping about taco bell. The tweet for the video was encouraging people to send in their own Taco Bell songs. This post was a success because Taco Bell did a good job at targeting their audience and knowing what the audience would like to see. The content was interesting and fun. The video/tweet provided value in the form of entertainment. This video didn't promote their products on twitter but instead, focused on engaging with their audience and providing entertainment. (M. Barker, D. Barker, Bormann, Roberts, Zahay 2008). The video creates a connection with the person who originally made the video who is obviously a fan of the company. This gives him a recognition and appreciation for being a loyal Taco Bell customer.
